Freezing rain will begin this morning in the Peace Region and will spread southeast towards the Edmonton area by midday. Freezing rain will taper off by Tuesday evening.

Freezing rain warnings are issued when rain falling in sub-zero temperatures creates ice build-up and icy surfaces.
