Yellow Advisory - Blowing Snow
Issued: 4:23 AM Feb. 27, 2026 – Environment and Climate Change Canada
Poor visibility in snow and blowing snow is expected in some locations. Widespread blowing snow is expected for portions of southeastern Saskatchewan beginning early on Friday. Recent snowfall, gusty winds, and falling temperatures will create conditions suitable for widespread reductions in visibility. Conditions will improve gradually in the late afternoon to the evening. ### Travel will likely be hazardous due to near-zero visibility. There may be a significant impact on rush hour traffic. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada. To report severe weather, send an email to SKstorm@ec.gc.ca, call 1-800-239-0484 or post reports on X using #SKStorm.
