Periods of heavy rain will bring total amounts of 50 to 80 mm by Saturday evening.

Rain will begin this afternoon and will taper off tonight. On Saturday, heavy rain will move back into the area bringing the highest amounts. The heavy rain will taper off Saturday night.

Heavy, wet snow is also possible on Saturday as snow levels drop to 1600 m. Up to 10 cm of snow is possible over higher terrain.

Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible. Be prepared for possible winter conditions at higher elevations.
