Rain, at times heavy, is expected. Locations: southwestern Nova Scotia. Total rainfall: 65 to 85 mm, except possibly higher amounts in thunderstorms. Time span: continuing today and ending overnight tonight. Remarks: Rainfall rates of 10 to 20 mm per hour may occur over some locations. Thunderstorms may develop producing locally heavier rainfall. Conditions may change rapidly with locally intense downpours. ### Water will likely pool on roads and in low-lying areas. Some travel delays are possible. Visibility will likely be suddenly reduced at times. Rainfall warnings are issued when significant impacts are expected due to rainfall amounts.
