What:
Significant freezing rain with ice build-up 4 to 8 mm.

When:
Saturday morning near Sault Ste. Marie and east to Sudbury later in the morning then ending late in the afternoon.

Additional Information:
The freezing rain will change to rain, possibly heavy at times, during Saturday afternoon or evening.

Roads and walkways will likely become icy and slippery.

Freezing rain warnings are issued when rain falling in sub-zero temperatures creates ice build-up and icy surfaces.

Heavy rain will begin again late Saturday morning.

What:
Heavy rain with total amounts of 30 to 50 millimetres is expected.

When:
Late Saturday morning until early Sunday morning.

Additional Information:
An area of heavy rain from a Colorado low will arrive late Saturday morning. Rain will be heavy at times. Brief freezing rain may precede the arrival of the rain. Due to the saturated ground and prior rain events the rain on Saturday may cause hazardous conditions due to extreme runoff.
