An extended period of hot and humid weather is expected. Time span: continuing through Thursday. Maximum daytime temperatures: near 29 degrees Celsius (Humidex near 36), except cooler along parts of the coast. Minimum overnight temperatures: 16 to 19 degrees Celsius. Locations: parts of mainland Nova Scotia and Cape Breton. Remarks: A combination of very high temperatures and elevated humidity is expected to continue tonight and Thursday for some areas.
