Locations: Gros Morne and Parson's Pond and Hawke's bay.

Total rainfall: 50 to 70 mm with possibly higher amounts locally.

Time span: continuing tonight and ending late in the day Thursday.

Similar storms in the past have caused:
- hazardous driving conditions from water pooling on roadways
- localized flooding, especially in poor drainage areas
- elevated water levels in creeks and streams
