Areas of freezing drizzle continue. What: Freezing drizzle leading to icy surfaces. When: Continuing overnight. Additional information: Patchy freezing drizzle continues over some locations. The freezing drizzle is expected to end later tonight. ### Icy surfaces will likely form and could be difficult to detect. There is risk of injury due to slips and falls. Freezing drizzle advisories are issued when drizzle is expected to freeze on contact and create icy surfaces. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada. Significant snowfall expected. What: Total snowfall amounts of up to 10 cm. Reduced visibility in heavy snow and blowing snow. When: Beginning overnight and ending Wednesday morning or afternoon. Additional Information: An Alberta clipper will bring snow across the area which may be heavy at times beginning overnight. The snow is expected to taper to rain showers or flurries from southwest to northeast Wednesday. Travel may become difficult at times.
