Locations: Terra Nova, Clarenville, southern Avalon Peninsula, Burin Peninsula, and Connaigre.

Maximum wind gusts: west to northwesterly 110 to 120 km/h.

Time span: tonight until early Tuesday morning.

Remarks: A period of strong winds is expected to occur on the backside of a departing storm system.
