An extended period of hot and humid weather is expected.

Time span: today through to Wednesday.

Maximum daytime temperatures: 33 to 36 degrees Celsius (Humidex 38 to 42), except cooler along parts of the coast.

Minimum overnight temperatures: 20 degrees Celsius.

Locations: New Brunswick, except cooler along the Bay of Fundy Coast.

Remarks: A combination of very high temperatures and elevated humidity is expected to continue through to Wednesday, with some moderation expected by Thursday.
