Ice build-up due to freezing rain is expected. Periods of freezing rain are expected. Locations: Most of southern New Brunswick Freezing rain duration: 6 to 10 hours. Total freezing rain amounts: 5 to 10 mm, with more possible in low-lying areas. Time span: Midnight tonight until Wednesday morning. Remarks: Precipitation is expected to begin falling as a mix of snow and ice pellets before transitioning to freezing rain mixed with ice pellets. ### Roads and walkways may become icy and slippery. There may be a significant impact on rush hour traffic. There is risk of injury due to slips and falls. Freezing rain warnings are issued when rain falling in sub-zero temperatures creates ice build-up and icy surfaces. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
