Severe Thunderstorm Watch

A cold front tracking through southeastern Manitoba will trigger scattered thunderstorms early this evening. These thunderstorms could possibly become severe. ### Driving conditions may be difficult. Damage to roofs, fences, branches or soft shelters is possible. Heavy rain can cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility. Strong wind gusts can damage trees, buildings and overturn vehicles. Large hail can cause significant damage and injury. Severe thunderstorm watches are issued when conditions are favourable for the development of thunderstorms capable of producing damaging hail, wind or rain.
