An extended period of hot and humid weather is expected to continue. Time span: : continuing through Thursday. Location: Nova Scotia Maximum daytime temperatures: 28 to 32 degrees Celsius (Humidex 36 to 40), except cooler along parts of the coast. Minimum overnight temperatures: 16 to 21 degrees Celsius. Remarks: A hot and humid airmass will persist through Thursday. Little relief is expected tonight and Thursday night due to elevated overnight temperatures and high humidity. Some relief is expected on Friday as a trough of low pressure gives cloud and showers. ### Heat warnings are issued when very high temperature or humidity conditions are expected to pose an elevated risk of heat illnesses, such as heat stroke or heat exhaustion.
