Freezing rain on Monday What: A prolonged period of freezing rain with ice pellets When: Beginning overnight Sunday night and ending Monday late in the day Where: Outaouais, Laurentians, Lanaudière, Greater Montreal, Montérégie and Eastern Townships Additional information: Freezing precipitation amounts of 5 to 15 millimetres are expected. Southwesterly winds will reach up to 70 kilometres per hour starting at the end of the day on Monday. ### Roads and walkways will likely become icy and slippery. There may be a significant impact on rush hour traffic. Prolonged utility outages are likely. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
