Conditions are favourable for the development of squalls with wind gusts up to 35 knots and poor to very poor visibility in thunderstorms heavy at times.

A line of showers or thunderstorms is expected to track across portions of Lake St. Clair and Lake Erie from west to east late this afternoon through this evening.

Much of the region will see a break in rainfall through the afternoon and early evening hours, however a line of heavy showers and possible thunderstorms is expected to track through this evening. The heaviest rain will occur in areas that receive thunderstorms.
