Freezing rain is expected. What: A prolonged period of freezing rain with ice pellets When: from Monday morning to Monday evening Additional information: Snowfall amounts of 30 to 50 centimetres and strong winds of up to 60 kilometres per hour will create stormy conditions. Ice accretion amounts of 5 to 10 millimetres are expected. ### Roads and walkways will likely become icy and slippery. Freezing rain warnings are issued when rain falling in sub-zero temperatures creates ice build-up and icy surfaces. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
