Yellow Warning - Winter Storm

Winter storm expected. What: Total snow and ice pellets accumulations of 20 to 30 centimetres over a 24-hour period. Strong winds reaching between 50 and 70 kilometres per hour. Blowing snow conditions resulting in significantly reduced visibilities. Freezing rain amounts of 2 to 5 mm. When: Wednesday and Thursday. Where: La Tuque, Laurentian Wildlife Reserve, Charlevoix, Saguenay, Kamouraska, Témiscouata and Rimouski. Additional information: Precipitation will start as snow and will be accompanied by blowing snow. Afterwards, in some areas, snow will change to freezing rain late in the day on Wednesday before changing back to snow on Thursday. ### Travel will likely be challenging. Road closures are possible.
