Winter storm.

What: Snow mixed with ice pellets and freezing rain. Total accumulations of 15 to 25 centimetres of snow and ice pellets.

When: until overnight Friday night.

Where: Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean, Charlevoix and Lower St. Lawrence.

Additional information:
Moderate to strong winds will produce local blowing snow, especially in the Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean region.

A second low pressure system will once again give significant snowfall amounts over these areas on Sunday. This system may also produce a mixed bag of precipitation, including a period of freezing rain.

Roads and walkways will likely be difficult to navigate. Visibility will likely be suddenly reduced to near zero at times. Road closures are possible.
