Hazardous winter conditions continue.

Zero visibility in snow and blowing snow, with winds gusting up to 100 km/h have been reported east of Calgary. These conditions will move eastwards through the afternoon. 

Freezing rain is also possible early this afternoon towards Saskatchewan.

A sharp drop in temperature is also likely to occur, as much as 15 degrees in three hours. For areas between Highway 9 and Highway 1, any remaining slush or ponding water is likely to freeze as temperatures drop rapidly this afternoon and evening.

Travel is not recommended.

Visibility will likely be suddenly reduced to near zero at times. Road closures are possible.
