Winter storm continues today.

What:
Total snowfall amounts of 15 to 30 cm.
Reduced visibility in heavy snow and blowing snow.

When:
Ending late this afternoon or this evening.

Additional information:
Snow, at times heavy, will continue to affect the area today.

Northerly winds gusting 50 to 60 km/h are resulting in blowing snow. The combination of heavy snow and blowing snow may result in near zero visibility at times.

The highest snowfall amounts are expected for areas north of Highway 17 where total accumulations may exceed 30 cm locally.

Conditions will improve beginning late this afternoon near the Ontario-Manitoba border, and from west to east through this evening.

Roads and walkways will likely be difficult to navigate. Visibility will likely be suddenly reduced to near zero at times. Road closures are possible.
