Strong winds that may cause damage are expected. Where: Exposed sections of East Vancouver Island from Nanoose Bay to Campbell River, Sunshine Coast, Greater Victoria, Gulf Islands, southwestern Metro Vancouver including Richmond and Delta. What: Southeasterly winds 70 km/h gusting to 90. When: This afternoon. Additional Information: A strong low pressure system will impact coastal B.C. this afternoon generating very strong southeasterly winds of 70 km/h gusting to 90. Winds will ease below warning criteria early this evening but will remain gusty out of the southwest until Friday morning. ### Local utility outages are possible. Disruptions to services and travel are possible. Wind warnings are issued when there is a significant risk of damaging winds.
