Potential snowfall:  10 to 15 cm.

Time span: this afternoon until tonight.

Remarks: A developing low pressure system is expected to bring a period of significant snowfall across parts of the province later today. Rain will mix with snow for some areas which could significantly lower snowfall amounts.

Check transit, ferry, or flight statuses well in advance as delays or disruptions could occur.
