A significant winter storm with heavy snow, strong winds and blowing snow is expected.

Locations: Norman Bay to Lodge Bay and Red Bay to L'Anse-au-Clair.

Total snowfall: 20 to 40 cm.

Maximum wind gusts: north to northeasterly 100 to 110 km/h.

Time span: early Monday morning until Tuesday morning.

Remarks: Snow, at times heavy, combined with strong winds will reduce visibility making road and travel conditions treacherous. Snowfall rates of 2 to 5 cm per hour are possible.
