Falling snow combined with strong easterly wind gusts of up to 80 km/h continues to cause reduced visibilities in blowing snow through southern Saskatchewan and southwestern Manitoba

The winds will begin to slowly diminish Tuesday night.

Snowfall with total amounts of 25 to 35 cm is expected.

Heavy snowfall is expected for much of southern Saskatchewan Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday.

A low pressure system will produce an area of heavy snow stretching from Meadow Lake southeastward to Estevan. Total snowfall accumulations are likely to be in the 25 to 35 cm range by Thursday morning.

The snow will taper off through the night on Wednesday.
