Heavy rain expected today. What: Rainfall amounts of 30 to 50 mm. Locally higher amounts possible in thunderstorms. When: Beginning this morning and ending this evening. Additional information: Heavy showers and thunderstorms are expected today as a low pressure system tracks east across the region. Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads.
