What:
Wind chills of minus 30 to minus 35.

When:
Tonight into Saturday morning. Wind chills of minus 30 to minus 35 may return Saturday night into Sunday morning for some locations.

Extreme cold puts everyone at risk.

Risks are greater for young children, older adults, people with chronic illnesses, people working or exercising outdoors, and those without proper shelter.

Watch for cold related symptoms: shortness of breath, chest pain, muscle pain and weakness, numbness and colour change in fingers and toes.

Poor visibility in snow and blowing snow continues tonight.

What:
Significantly reduced visibility in blowing snow.
Strong wind gusts of 70 to 80 km/h possible.

When:
Tonight and possibly into Saturday morning.

Additional Information:
Strong northwesterly winds will continue tonight which will lead to blowing snow and significantly reduced visibility. Visibility may even be near zero at times for wind-prone and exposed areas.

Keep emergency supplies in your vehicle such as extra blankets and jumper cables.

Travel will likely be hazardous due to near-zero visibility. Road closures are possible.
