Yellow Warning - Freezing Rain
Issued: 12:59 AM Dec. 29, 2025 – Environment and Climate Change Canada
Freezing rain is expected. Locations: most of northern New Brunswick. Freezing rain duration: 4 to 8 hours. Freezing rain amounts: 5 to 10 mm or more. Time span: beginning Monday evening then ending or changing to rain overnight. Remarks: Some areas may not see temperatures rise above the freezing mark, resulting in a heavier ice accretion. ### Roads and walkways will likely become icy and slippery. Local utility outages are possible. Freezing rain warnings are issued when rain falling in sub-zero temperatures creates ice build-up and icy surfaces.
