What:
Total snowfall amounts of 10 to 20 cm.
Peak snowfall rates of 2 to 5 cm per hour.

When:
Continuing through tonight. The heaviest snow is expected to occur late this afternoon into this evening.

Additional information:
Snow may mix with ice pellets or freezing rain this evening, particularly for areas to the south and east of Ottawa. For areas that receive a wintry mix, snowfall accumulations may be reduced. Conditions will improve late overnight.
