Yellow Watch - Snow Squall
Issued: 7:33 PM Dec. 15, 2025 – Environment and Climate Change Canada
Snow squalls are expected to develop. Under the snow squall bands, visibility will be significantly reduced due to the heavy snow combined with blowing snow, and snow will quickly accumulate. Locations: Kings County. Total snowfall: potentially up to 10 cm in snow squalls. Maximum wind gusts: northwesterly up to 80 km/h. Time span: tonight until Tuesday morning. Remarks: A cold northwesterly flow of arctic air will lead to the possible development of snow squalls. ### Visibility may be suddenly reduced to near zero at times. Snow squall watches are issued when localized, intense snowfall causing rapid accumulation and/or reduced visibility is possible.
