Hot weather continues

Maximum temperatures between 30 and 34 degrees Celsius combined with high humidity will generate humidex values near 40. Nights will also be warm, with overnight lows of 20 degrees Celsius or more, providing little relief from the heat.

Conditions will begin to improve during the day on Wednesday. More seasonal daytime highs and lower humidity are expected on Thursday.

Heat warnings are issued when very high temperature or humidity conditions are expected to pose an elevated risk of heat illnesses, such as heat stroke or heat exhaustion.
