Rain and thunderstorms expected for the weekend

What: Total rainfall amounts of 30 to 50 millimetres are expected. However, additional rainfall produced by thunderstorms may lead to total rainfall amounts in excess of 50 millimetres.

When:
Regions of Western Quebec: from Friday afternoon to overnight Saturday through Sunday
Regions of Southern and Central Quebec: from Friday evening through Sunday morning

Where: Montreal, Montérégie, Eastern Townships, Bois-Francs, Lanaudière, the Laurentians, the Outaouais and Témiscamingue

Additional information:
A weather system will move across the southern part of the province this weekend. This system has the potential to generate significant rainfall amounts from Friday to Sunday.   The heavier precipitation are expected from Friday evening to Saturday evening.

Water may accumulate in some areas. Some rivers may see an increased flow and higher water levels.
