Hot weather continues

Maximum temperatures between 30 and 34 degrees Celsius, combined with high humidity, generate humidex values close to 40. In addition, nights will be warm, with minimum temperatures of 20 degrees Celsius or higher, providing little relief.

Conditions will begin to improve during the day on Wednesday. More seasonal daytime highs and lower humidity are expected on Thursday.

Heat warnings are issued when very high temperature or humidity conditions are expected to pose an elevated risk of heat illnesses, such as heat stroke or heat exhaustion.
