Strong winds expected today into tonight. What: Strong southwesterly and northwesterly wind gusts up 70 km/h. When: Today. Easing tonight. Additional information. The winds will become northwesterly through the afternoon with the passage of a cold front. Significant ice build-up from freezing rain is expected to lead to more impacts from these winds.
