A long period of snowfall with total amounts of about 15 cm is expected.

What: Heavy snow and reduced visibility.

Where: Whitehorse, Teslin, and Atlin. 

When: This morning through Sunday.

Remarks: An approaching storm system is spreading snow to the area this morning. Snow will intensify later today and continue tonight. By early Sunday morning, total snowfall amounts near 15 cm can be expected.

Heavy snow will taper off Sunday morning as the system departs.
