Issued: 9:33 AM Dec. 23, 2025 – Environment and Climate Change Canada
Snow squalls are expected to develop. Under the snow squall bands, visibility will be significantly reduced due to the heavy snow combined with blowing snow, and snow will quickly accumulate. Locations: Prince Edward Island, with conditions most favourable for Queens and Kings counties. Additional snowfall: 5 cm in snow squalls. Maximum wind gusts: northerly 50 km/h. Time span: continuing until later this morning. ### Snow squall watches are issued when localized, intense snowfall causing rapid accumulation and/or reduced visibility is possible. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada. To report severe weather, send an email to PEstorm@ec.gc.ca or post reports on X using #PEStorm.
