Time span:  this evening until early Saturday morning.

Remarks: Snow and ice pellets will change to freezing rain this evening then to rain or freezing rain overnight.  Precipitation will change briefly to snow before ending Saturday morning.

Roads and walkways will likely become icy and slippery. Icy surfaces could be difficult to detect.

Freezing rain warnings are issued when rain falling in sub-zero temperatures creates ice build-up and icy surfaces.
