Yellow Watch - Snow Squall

Snowfall today. Snow squalls beginning tonight. What: Reduced visibility in heavy snow and local blowing snow. Total snowfall amounts of 10 to 20 cm. Locally higher amounts are possible in the most persistent lake effect snow bands. When: Developing tonight and lasting through Thursday afternoon. Additional information: Snowfall with up to 5 cm accumulation will pass through the region today. Snow squalls off lake Huron will develop after this snowfall. Northerly wind gusts of 50 to 60 km/h will result in blowing snow and further reduce visibility. ### Travel may be hazardous. Visibility may be suddenly reduced to near zero at times. Roads and walkways may be difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
