Periods of heavy snow continue today.

Locations: Halifax County - East of Porters Lake, Guysborough, Richmond, and Cape Breton Counties.

Additional snowfall: 5 cm, possibly more inland and over higher terrain.

Anticipated snowfall totals: 10 to 15 cm.

Time span:  ending this morning in eastern mainland Nova Scotia and this afternoon in eastern Cape Breton.

Remarks: Roads may become difficult to navigate in quickly accumulating snow. Visibility may suddenly be reduced at times. Motorists should be prepared for winter driving conditions.
