Severe Thunderstorm Warning

At 7:33 p.m. EDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing very strong wind gusts and heavy rain. ### Local utility outages are likely. Damage to roofs, fences, soft shelters or trees is likely. There is a risk of injury. Severe thunderstorms can produce tornadoes. Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.

An area of thunderstorms has developed and may produce wind gusts up to 35 knots before a line of severe thunderstorms is expected to approach the Canadian waters near 8:30 P.M. EDT.
