A strong low pressure system will bring an abrupt return to winter across much of southern Manitoba beginning Tuesday evening. Hazards: 15 to 25 cm of snow. Poor visibilities in falling and blowing snow. Freezing rain will also be possible mainly over extreme southwestern Manitoba. Timing: Beginning early Tuesday evening and tapering off overnight Wednesday into Thursday morning. Poor travel conditions can be expected on Wednesday into Thursday across the province. In addition, a return to winter-like temperatures can be expected across the province in the wake of this system. ### Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
