This afternoon and early this evening, conditions are favourable for the development of dangerous thunderstorms capable of producing very strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain. There is also a slight risk of a tornado. Nautical activities may be hazardous due to sudden, severe wind gusts over bodies of water. ### Utility outages are possible. Severe thunderstorm watches are issued when conditions are favourable for the development of thunderstorms capable of producing damaging hail, wind or rain. Heat Warning

One last day of heat Maximum temperatures near 30 degrees Celsius combined with high humidity will generate humidex values between 35 and 38 today. More seasonal daytime highs and lower humidity are expected on Thursday. ### Heat warnings are issued when very high temperature or humidity conditions are expected to pose an elevated risk of heat illnesses, such as heat stroke or heat exhaustion.
