Yellow Watch - Snow Squall

Intense snow squalls expected Sunday. What: Total snowfall accumulations of 20 to 40 cm. Locally higher amounts possible. Near zero visibility in areas of heavy snow and blowing snow. Peak snowfall rates of 2 to 5 cm per hour. When: Beginning early Sunday morning and ending Sunday afternoon or evening. Additional information: As winds become northerly early Sunday morning, a particularly strong snow squall is expected to develop off Lake Huron. The heaviest snowfall is expected west of London. However, snow squalls may move into western portions of the city at times. Conditions should improve over all areas Sunday evening. ### Travel may be hazardous. Road closures are possible.
