Rainfall Warning
Issued: 10:05 AM Jun. 20, 2025 – Environment and Climate Change Canada
Scattered showers will develop into an area of heavy rain through the day today. Total rainfall amounts will range between 50 and 100 mm, however, some areas could see upwards of 150 mm. The rain will begin to taper off Saturday evening. Over mountainous terrain, rain is expected to change to snow. The snow will be very wet and heavy, and accumulations will be highly variable. On Saturday, 10 to 20 cm of snow is possible over the highest elevations, such as Highwood Pass, as snow levels drop to near 1400 m. ### Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible. Be prepared for possible winter conditions at higher elevations. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
