Remarks: Precipitation will begin as snow on Friday afternoon before possibly transitioning to ice pellets or freezing rain by Friday evening. The potential exists for significant snowfall accumulations over northern Inverness and Victoria counties by Saturday morning. Areas of freezing drizzle are expected. Locations: Cape Breton Island. Time span: until Thursday morning. Remarks: A prolonged period of freezing drizzle is expected as moist, onshore flow persists tonight. Freezing drizzle is expected to taper off on Thursday morning. ### Roads, walkways, and other surfaces will likely become icy and slippery.
