A break in the thunderstorms will continue this morning through midday. Thunderstorms are expected to develop again later this afternoon and continue into this evening. These storms could produce up to 50 knot gusts, large hail and frequent lightning.

Poor to very poor visibility may contribute to voyage delays and make marine navigation hazardous. Large hail can damage vessels and cause injury.

Maximum temperatures of 30 to 32 degrees Celsius.
Minimum temperatures of 20 to 23 degrees Celsius.
Maximum humidex values near 40.

When:
Continuing through today, possibly lasting into Thursday for extreme southwestern Ontario.

Additional information:
The heat event may continue into Thursday for Windsor and Essex County, however, confidence is low.
