Locations: Prince Edward Island. Time span: easing on Saturday. Maximum temperature today: near 30 degrees Celsius (Humidex 38). Minimum temperature tonight: near 19 degrees Celsius. Remarks: A very warm and humid air mass will continue to bring a period of high daytime temperatures and elevated Humidex values. Nighttime lows are also forecast to stay warm, providing little to no relief. Temperatures are expected to be cooler along parts of the coast. Conditions are expected to improve somewhat on Saturday. ### Heat warnings are issued when very high temperature or humidity conditions are expected to pose an elevated risk of heat illnesses, such as heat stroke or heat exhaustion.
