Yellow Watch - Snow Squall

Snow squalls possible Monday. What: Local snowfall accumulations of 10 to 20 cm. Poor visibility in areas of heavy snow and blowing snow. When: Beginning overnight or Monday morning, and ending Monday night. Additional information: Lake effect snow off Lake Ontario is expected to develop later tonight or early Monday morning. Westerly winds gusting to 60 km/h are expected to develop Monday afternoon giving areas of blowing snow and poor visibility. There may be a significant impact on rush hour traffic Monday. Travel on Highway 401 may be hazardous at times. ### Visibility may be suddenly reduced to near zero at times. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
