A long duration heat event continues. Daytime high temperatures ranging between 29 and 33 degrees Celsius are expected this week. Overnight lows will vary greatly, ranging between 10 and 16 degrees Celsius depending on location. There is a concern that the effects of the heat could build over time. The heat will come to an end early next week. ### Heat warnings are issued when very high temperature conditions are expected to pose an elevated risk of heat illnesses, such as heat stroke or heat exhaustion.
