What:
Freezing drizzle leading to icy surfaces. 

When:
Continuing this evening and possibly overnight.

Additional information:
Patchy freezing drizzle continues over some locations. The freezing drizzle is expected to end tonight.

Icy surfaces will likely form and could be difficult to detect. There is risk of injury due to slips and falls.

Freezing drizzle advisories are issued when drizzle is expected to freeze on contact and create icy surfaces.

Yellow Warning - Snowfall
Issued: 7:09 PM Dec. 9, 2025 – Environment and Climate Change Canada
Heavy snow and local blowing snow expected.

What: 
Total snowfall amounts of 10 to 20 cm.
Reduced visibility in heavy snow and blowing snow.

When: 
Beginning overnight and ending Wednesday morning or early afternoon.

Additional Information: 
An Alberta clipper will bring snow across the area which may be heavy at times beginning overnight. The snow is expected to transition to showers or flurries from southwest to northeast through the day Wednesday. 

Lake effect snow squalls are then possible for areas southeast of Lake Huron Wednesday night into Thursday. Additional snowfall accumulation is likely for some locations.

Travel will likely be challenging. Roads and walkways will likely be difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow. Visibility will likely be reduced at times.
