Heavy rain is expected.

What: Rainfall amounts 80 to 110 mm. 

Where: Fraser Valley- central including Chilliwack and east including Hope, Hope Slide, and Highway 3 - Hope to Princeton (western sections).

When: This evening through Wednesday evening. 

Remarks: An atmospheric river will arrive on the South Coast of BC bringing heavy rain tonight through Wednesday. Warm air with the system will cause freezing levels to rise and snowmelt combined with the already saturated ground and heavy rain, will likely result in high streamflows and localized flooding.

Localized flooding is likely. Some roads may become impassable. Visibility will likely be suddenly reduced at times.
